    im installing APACHe on windows server 2003
    but .htacess not work on apache

    make sure you have the allowoverride setting set in your config.

    Hi,

    It should be a simple apache configuration issue. Just google about the issue , google is the best teacher . You can check the link for the solution.

    - What exactly are you trying to accomplish through .htaccess?
    - Do you have SuPHP/PHP SuExec ?

    What do you try to do? I guess you want to rewrite URLs? If so, then see of mod_rewrite is enabled
