How to setup VPS Cloud using Virtuozzo?

Does anybody know how to create a VPS cloud using Virtuozzo? Is it possible to do so? What are the other options for setting up a VPS Cloud?

look into Proxmox VE

http://www.proxmox.com/cms_proxmox/e...ts/proxmox-ve/

it is openvz based and has the ability to cluster multiple servers together.

You can use Virtuozzo. It will be more professional but costly. You can use HyperVM its free.

AppLogic is another alternative for cloud VPS solutions.

I've never used virtuozzo, but assuming it has an API you could probably make something similar with some custom code.

Not true. Virtuozzo 4 has a cluster feature. You can use an iscsi array to have the VMs on the iscsi partition and have the VMS move on node failure much like VPS.net works.

oh, true - but the failover part is only a very small part of what we do on vps.net though

So, what is the option if you want to setup a VPS cloud like VPS.NET? I need for both Windows and Linux.

Xen or KVM, some chunky front end nodes and a couple of expensive SAN devices. Then some developers.

if you are starting from scratch, you may be better off simply partnering up with one of the providers out there and resell their service to your clients.
