I do not remember this website, perhaps I critiqued it but I'm not sure. To be honest if feel like it was made back in the 90's. I strongly suggest visiting http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&e...trends&spell=1 and viewing today's web standards and trends. This will help your website look more modern and obtain more traffic as a result. If your website looks okay but you made it a few weeks ago, something has to change.
Overall, I'm not a fan of the website. You have alot of great content but how it's displayed seems it bit iffy. You currently have 3 columns (left, middle and right) and this is something you DO NOT see with today's web standards. I strongly suggest making your website 2 column or a 1 column.
A big pet peeve of mine is advertising on web hosting / web design websites such as you do. The top right for example you have, "Add Your Site Here... click here." This looks extremely tacky and unprofessional. I hope I've helped you obtain a bit more insight and as a result will have a stronger website composition in the end. Best of luck!

You can't use this image unless you have signed up to do so - http://www.mywebstar.co.uk/images/macafee.jpg - You could get into trouble for doing this.

Ugh, I hate to be like this James because I do understand and know first hand just how difficult it can be at times with web design and development. I'm sorry to say but I do not like this design either. It looks very 90'sish and not up to date with today's web standards (Web 2.0).
If your stuck and are looking for inspiration I would suggest visiting www.deviantart.com By no means should you copy artwork designed by fellow designers but you can get inspiration. I hope I've been helpful. Best of luck to you!

Web standards and Web 2.0 are by no means the same. In actuality, Web 2.0 is not even a reality, more-so a term coined to easily sum up the use of the latest code.
Web standards is the accessibility by all users (blind, color-blind, limited color-blind, etc.) which also plays a role in search engine optimization.
Web 2.0 is the use of the latest technology, such as AJAX or jQuery, in a design. Web 2.0 is only a silly term used (as I said previously) to sum up the adaptation to the latest code.

James,
Your design just needs to be brought into the future. Back in the day the web was all cyber-oriented: cool digital displays, scanlines, etc. We've all come to our senses to enjoy subtle contrasting colors, light gradients, and some shadowing to make things stand out.
Outside of The-Pixel's previous suggestion of DeviantArt, you might also try a CSS gallery such as http://www.cssdrive.com/ or http://www.cssbeauty.com/gallery/ . Again, however, copying is not the best of ideas.
Best,
Ryan
