I've learned a lot about the health aspects of silver & colloidal silver over the past two years. Spent a good bit of time reading all about it online. I was skeptical, but it turns out that silver is used significantly by the medical industry. Not only is silver used in many of the cleaning products in hospitals but it's also used in many wound treatments such as for burn victims and in other products which are intended for fighting severe infections. I know this first hand as silver products were used and considered to be "the best" (and most expensive) by the medical staff who were treating my grandmother's various wounds before she passed.
Silver is proven to kill the MRSA virus as well, afaik.
I'm sometimes a bit skeptical about colloidal silver, but that probably comes from the fact that it isn't promoted by "big pharma" (I suppose it might put some of them largely out of business). It seems easy for people to make on their own, which would be even worse for the pharmaceutical industry.
Apparently, viruses cannot become resistant to silver the same way they become resistant to antibiotic meds, which is another good thing when there are viruses such as MRSA.
Anyhow, I do have some colloidal silver that I bought in the past year. This is the stuff I have:
http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/e...jsp?id=QI-1007 I did a lot of comparison with the various brands, but this one seems to be the most compelling in regards to its claim of better quality. Some info on that at
