Do you use a MACintosh as your client to work on your servers?

    Greetings:

Do you use a MACintosh as your client to work on your servers?

If yes, what SSH client and other software do you recommend?

    Thank you.

strange that, ive found that things tend to crash LESS when i use my mac for admin purposes.

for SSH i just use the build in terminal.app, have no need to install anything else for ssh as it just works.

For browsers i have 3 installed, Opera, Safari and Firefox.

When it comes to php work i use dreamweaver and photoshop for editing images.

I am able to do more on a mac than on a PC without having to install extra programs.

I 2nd Mark's opinion. I haven't experienced any crashes. I use OSX, Linux, and Windows for desktops at work and home.

On my Mac I use SSH at the terminal and I like using TextMate and Coda for any coding. Filezilla for FTP.

I use my mac all the time! Far more stable than Windows. In fact, I don't ever remember my mac ever freezing or crashing.

This has got to be a troll so I'm not even going to go there.

There are many that run their businesses off of Macs and there are no issues at all with it.

Terminal.app is great for SSH, Transmit for FTP and TextMate for editing/coding.

And of course Firefox/Mail.app/iCal/Address Book etc. as general tools.

I will never EVER use a PC. I am a 100% mac user. For SSH I just use Terminal. I never have a problem with macs.

I use cyberduck for SFTP & FTP.

its obvious that windows software wont run on mac, my 11 year old sisters know that one. But for every windows app you need, there is a mac alternative there waiting to take the load

Absolutely. My laptop is a MacBook Air with Snow Leopard. For SSH, I use the built-in Terminal program. For mail, I use Thunderbird. For the web, I use Firefox.

I have Windows XP installed under VMWare Fusion just in case I need it, but I haven't found a need for it.

It's funny because all mac users have something like VMWare or Parallels , to use Windows but we never use it!Cause osx have all the application and it's more stable!

    Greetings:

We currently use Tectia SSH from http://www.ssh.com/

It's nice to have client folders and profiles for each client in their own folder.

Are there similar programs for the MAC?

    Thank you.
