    DNS Hosting ?

Instead of just setting up a NameServer and pointing a domain to that via IP, anyone provide good domain name server hosting where I can change and update the records?

I rather do that then setting up a windows DNS server to handle the requests.

www.everydns.com is very good, they are hardly ever offline and when they are, they are usual back online within the hour.

I use freedns.afraid.org. I don't know if they/he are better then everydns.com but the updates seems to be quite fast. One of the domains I host there has a machine with a dynamic IP as target and it seems to propagate the changes almost immediately.

So they are good for a non-business site? Usually an hour of downtime will cost a company 50 years of DNS hosting costs so it's usually not worth the hassle. But I can see for a hobby site it is perfect.
