To have your own custom CMS made with Database would cost over £1K
Well I know WHMCS is affordable. I use it myself.
I was more looking for something not server related but with the same feature set.
I'm not going to be managing this type of thing once its in place and I think if they saw module settings with a dropdown and tried to figure out what it meant when setting up a new subscription package their eyes may roll back in their head .
I may have found something. I'm going to install it later today and if it works out I will report back in here.
Does there need to be integration with any existing billing system they are using at the club? A place to start may be to check with the existing payment processor if there is one, though if it's quicken expect them to push one of their partners on you.
So save your client time and check yourself if that's the case.
They don't have an existing billing system. They are just opening up and I handled their hosting and they asked me for input on things that would make life easier when they have their grand opening. They literally have nothing other than about 6 basic desktop computers there.
I think I'm going to recommend http://www.phpinvoice.com
I'm going to do an install this evening and see if I can't make it work how they imagined it operating.
ez facility is a bit out of their price range @ ~50/month
We installed Blesta (30 day) and Paul Phillips there was very helpful. The current version doesn't have setup fees though which is somewhat of an issue but can be worked around. Their paper invoice option is quite nice.
