I have a Debian server with RAID 1 via hardware.

Could someone tell me how can i check the RAID status? ( if a hd failed or something like this ).

If you have a 3ware controller they provide a utility called tw_cli. I don't know about other controllers, though, as all my boxes run 3ware configs.

The different RAID card manufacturers all have different tools. To start off need to know what card you have then grab the tools for it.

    What does

    lspci |grep -i raid

show? Or do you know the model card you have?
