I have vista home premium have done for the past 3 years or so and I cant say ive ever had an issue with it.
I have a cut back version ( alot of the pointless and stupid features disabled that I disabled myself).
Just wondering the benifits of version 7 what are they?
does anyone know if they have worked on or improved any lan setttings or anything to do with network connectivity as I think that would benifit me.
after reading lots of articles they say the word "performance" alot...
but yet for windows 7 home prem 64bit you need 2gb ram and 20gb hard disk space....wtf....vist 64bit doesnt even use 2gb ram let alone 20gb hdd space lmao.
im sort of 50 50 on it...I want to upgrade cause its a new OS and its kinda my job as an engineer to know about and how to use new OS however if its really not that different over vista then I truly dont see the point.
umm i use windows 7 and i have to say it is the best Windows OS (better than xp). If you are unsure i have a Release Client Product key laying around somewhere if you want to try it. And if you like it, it will be usable till August 2010 i think. PM me
Vista stinks, In my own opinion windows 7 is WAY faster, and the 64 bit doesn't use 2 GB RAM I believe that that is the Microsoft Recommended amount. The 32 Bit that is s'posed to use 1 GB RAM only uses 512 MB when AVG is running, or that is what the RC does.
Even Microsoft is ashamed of Vista ... Yet some people like it
