Is it legal for a US hosting company to sell hosting to residents of Iran?

I was wondering if it were legal for a US hosting company to sell hosting accounts to customers from Iran or other US trade embargoed country?

a trade embargoed company is not allowed to have any products or services sold to it by businesses in the US. If you did then you can get into major trouble
