Apple vs Windows 7
BURLINGAME, Calif. -- Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 7, hit stores Thursday.
Apple, however, is already pushing commercials attacking Microsoft for "broken promises"; touting the Mac as "a real fresh start," over Windows 7...
[...]
But is it too late for Apple to grab those users? You know something interesting is happening when Apple's online jihadists take a break from slicing up Microsoft, PC makers and journalists to turn their attention to the Mac maker itself.
"We sometimes wonder if Jobs missed his 'Windows of opportunity' by failing to take all of the advantages that Microsoft's Vista presented to Apple," the Apple enthusiasts at MacDailyNews wrote earlier this month.
Very cool article. Check it out.

I do hate the fact that your tied to their hardware, obviously you can install Hakintosh, etc, but to get a "true" mac you have to buy their hardware which is stupid. The laptop which I am costs $2,000... and it's only a Core2Duo. Their profit margins are outrageously high, that's what I can't stand about Apple.
I think people are still weary of Windows 7 because the fact that Vista was a huge flop at the beginning.

I have Windows 7 running on my laptop for almost a year now (RC Version) and it has served me very well.....
I also have a macbook pro that i use as my daily back and forth machine and i will never go back to a primary Windows Desktop....
As my main machine, i use a Mac Pro (8cores) with VMware running Windows XP cause some programs still need Active X.... We use Avocent for our KVMs and have over 1,000 ports on the system.... no matter how hard we try, we have not been able to get the OSX to run the Avocent Interface.
As far as stability.,... both OSX and Windows7 seem to be highly stable. And yes, i do run allot of programs simultaneously.
At the end of the day, it is your choice as to what OS you will want to use as a Core.... but i can tell you that no matter what.... you will always need a windows box even if it is just virtual...Biznesshosting, Inc. DBA VOLICO - Intelligent Hosting Solutions

I am still running Windows 7 RC, but I'll be upgrading within the next couple of weeks. I do, however, want to buy a Mac next year.

When I took Graphic Design in school all we had to learn on were Mac's because they are the stand for all Graphic Design. The biggest thing for me and still is, is Mac's do not have a right click. I think I've been on the PC to long, haha. Very interesting article, thank you for sharing!
