Someone had posted about this awhile back, and yes, it's quite cool!

I almost wouldn't mind being stopped by one of those.

Who's the lucky cop who gets to drive it?

Makes me harken back to the days of Miami Vice.

    Cool!
But I am not sure if that is a good idea. Many people will want to be chased by that car so it might actually increase the crime rate.

Here is a similar and very bad idea:

I would be willing to be arrested if it meant riding in one of those...

I don't think you can ride in the back of them.... They only have two seats if I remember correctly .

Shame it's not going on the roads, it would be amazing to see that zoom by at a tonne and a half.

Nice point. Mmm... Hummer (US Army version) versus Lamborghini Gallardo, anyone?

Yes, very cool. I was expecting this to be for a police department in the U.S., but am so glad that it is not.

Wow. That's a very cool car. We do have some unmarked 'decked out" police cars around here - but not comparable to that.

Yeah, most of the cities in Dallas-Ft Worth seem to use the Chargers, eh?

Do you think they are used a lot outside of Texas much, too?

I last visited North Carolina, and I did not happen to observe any Chargers as police cars out there.

Really? I guess I don't get out of southlake *too* much, I sometimes go on my epic adventure out to Grapevine and that's 'bout it. Hehe

I didn't see any chargers anywhere in California, Arizona, Ohio, or Nebraska. Only in Texas.

Really?, i saw a documentary about this car a while back already and it was indeed used, but it might be have been a show instead (i tend not to believe everything i see on tv) and its really locked up in a museum now that would be a real shame.

As for those who don't mind to be stopped by Italian police, think again.

That's just a big waste of tax dollars.
