    * php error

    Hello

I was trying to set up a os commerce and i got the classic 500 internal server error, when i saw the error log of apache i got this:

[error] [client 201.223.51.132] /usr/bin/php: error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory
[Thu Oct 22 01:18:30 2009] [error] [client 201.xx.xx.132] Premature end of script headers: index.php
I even tried a small php test script but i got the same error.

I know it's a problem of libraries, but how can i fix it?

I have a cpanel vps with centos 64 and i have root access.

    Thanks for your assistance.

looks like you are running out of memory. how much memory do you have on your VPS, what applications your run and how much traffic does the web site get?

Request your host to increase the KMEMSIZE for your vps on the main node.

Paste the output of the following command from the command line of your vps.

    Code:

    I don't have such file:

    cat /proc/user_beancounters
cat: /proc/user_beancounters: No such file or directory

i've increased php memory to 128 mb and i still get the same error

i've searched for libgcc_s.so.1 inside the server and i have it in /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 and /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1

    please any advice is appreciated.

    here it is:

    free -mt
total used free shared buffers cached
    Mem: 2048 1234 814 0 245 598
    -/+ buffers/cache: 390 1657
    Swap: 511 0 511
    Total: 2560 1234 1326
i cant paste the output of top -d2c but i still see free memory, i might add that there is just one domain in the server, its clean so i dont think it has to be related to memory consumption.

    Thanks
