How to unblock IP addresses blocked by cphulk and mod_security?

    I have root access.

How do I unblock blocked IPs?

For mod_security, I added whitelist to modsec2.conf and it isn't working.

For CPHulk if you login to WHM as root and go to Security Center > CPHulk you will see a list of all of the banned IP's.

You can remove entries there or flush all of them out in one go.

After adding the whitelist to mod_security, was the Apache daemon restarted for changes to take effect ?

Yes I restarted but it appears if the IP is in the deny list, putting it in the allow list won't do anything.

Right now I just remove it from the deny list and it works fine now.
