Baby survives after being run over by train
A baby has had an amazing escape after his pushchair rolled off a station platform and under a train in Australia.
The train had slowed right down as it pulled into the station and the six-month-old baby suffered only a bump to his head.
CCTV of the incident was released to local media. It shows the pram rolling off the platform while the baby's mother looks on in horror.
Victoria state Police Sergeant Michael Ferwerda called the incident a 'lucky escape' and said people should be cautious in train stations.

That's truely amazing. What a lucky escape for the baby. I cannot imagine what the mother went through while she watched in horror.

I imagine that it was very slow motion esque in the mind of the mother as lots of thoughts and images surely went through her head.

It was amazing to watch the footage to see how close the train was when the baby went over the ledge.
That baby should have purchased a lottery ticket, it appears lady luck was shining.

I am a father of a 3 month old baby girl and when I watched that video I got the goose bumps! Scary feeling when your watching your own child plummet to their death...Specially when there is nothing you can do to stop it.
