Live Person - Over Priced ?

We are currently using Kayako live chat , but has two bugs that are beyond annoying. We were looking into Live Person but they charge $99 / Month PER operator.

Is it me or is that a little expensive for live chat software ?

Well it's a hosted solution as well, it can certainly be had for less than the $99 a month. Either email or give them a call.

It's not perfect, but it's the best available in my experience.

That is good to hear. Although honestly them hosting it I don't see any advantage to that.

I did give them a shout on live chat seemed they would offer a 30 day money back guarantee as well as 50% off the second seat.

Seems interesting. Any other thoughts ?

Edit. He is asking his manager if he can cut the price down more. Edit: Seems like they just were able to offer me 2 seats for the price of 1.

I am going to give it the trial run and see how it goes.

WoW, it did sure speed up my site compared to Kayako. (kayako slow java script).

So far so good and seems like it is well worth the $100.

I've used LP multiple times and every time it's well worth it. It improves productivity in my opinion with it's paramount interface. Customers also recognize it was a symbol of "high quality" as all "big" company's use it. hehe

Does seem a little expensive for me, but if it's decent and it plays an important role in your sales/support then its worth doing.

We still use Stardevelop Livehelp, dirt cheap and it works very well.

They made me the same offer as 2 seats for one price but it really pays itself. The good part is you can use it on multiple sites and that lets you know about customer profile
