Cubichost.org down
Hi guys
Its been over 7 hours that my VPS with Cubichost is down along with their main site. Looks like they are on the run again .....
Anyone know how to reach them???
This thread might get some answers from their representative here. Since their website is down, I don't know how to reach them.

Did you possibly learn from last time and make backups? Sorry to hear about the downtime.

hi,
tried the whois contact....no answer. i spoke to him on messenger today.
he told me the datacenters number was disconnected. i don't believe that for a fraction of a second. anyone paying a datacenter bill has a phone that is always on.
i basically don't use my 3 vps accounts. i use them like....maybe 1 time a month...and downtime is basically irrelavant to me.....but this particular down time is crushing my world right now.

hi,
....turns out they don't give a crap either. they are a class c management and my nodes are not on their edge. they are providing the whole 208.169.228.0-255 address space to a further provider which they cant provide information on. the only thing they can do is initiate a circuit request from the class c block upward to a backbone. investigating further.

Just to update everyone on the current status.
Right now, our main server is down as you know. This includes our website, as well as VPS clients, dedicated server clients are not affected.
We have no real information regarding the problem and as soon as our datacenter tech transits to the datacenter, brings the server back up, we will most likely set up a KVM over IP + Remote Reboot Port to make problems like this impossible to happen again. We also have looked into another provider who can provide a similar deal but has a much better reputation. Depending on what our current provider is willing to work out and how fast they are going to bring our server back online we may or may not move right away. If not, we will have a KVM, as well as an offsite backup to prevent data loss and be able to provide clients access to their backups if they decide to leave. On top of that we are going to put a % aside in case we need to move to that provider with short notice. Currently our budget was all on this server and all our proceeds went towards it leaving us tied up with the provider and unable to leave.
Stay tuned, I will update this thread as soon as we get our server online, or have any more information regarding what happened.
