    Make mysql db and user in shell?

    How would I go about this? I've tried finding a guide on the net but haven't found much to useful

    On a linux shell you can use below.

    create mysql database
    mysqladmin create dbname
    add user from mysql prompt. Type mysql on shell to get mysql prompt.
    grant all privileges on dbname.* to [email protected] identified by 'password';

    If you arenlt going to use a control panel like PHPMyadmin, then I recommend checking out the basic commands and learning them on your own. Her is a good place to get started:
