    ok i need a little help with this. trying to get my data back

    ok i need a little help with this.

    reefer to this post to understand what is going on.

    The thing is i am trying to get my data off of there server.
    since they are now trying to hold it hostage for the money they say i ow them.

    they refuse any sort of access for me to get my data off of there servers.

    I looked in there TOS here

    and i cannot find anything in there to help me achieve this.

    what do yall suggest, relating to the problem in the post above to be able to get my data off of the server that i need for my own clients.

    the other forum topic says they null routed the ip, so basically you can't get the data off the server, if it were online you could quickly move it all off.

    where is the server located? how much data is on it? do you know how to back it up if it comes online? do you have another place to put the data?

    the server is located in Dallas texas.
    its around 15 gigs of data.
    i do know how to back it up if it comes online.
    and i have another server it will be transferred to.

    best you can do is plead to have it turned back on just so you can move the data off of it.

    next time invest in offsite backup. its very inexpensive now.

    You can get your data easily if the server get back up,otherwise you could do nothing about it.
    Make sure the former host did not inform you any information about the switch.Maybe you can dispute it with paypal on the payment which was payed by error.It is just all about money..
