I have a greyhound mix. Been looking at petharbor.com for adoptable dogs at shelters. Trying to find her a friend. She is so lonely these days.

I had a half golden retriever / half husky mix who was the sweetest dog ever. We had to put her to sleep last summer; she was 16. We were lucky to have her for so long. It's a terrible feeling when someone who was with you every moment for so many years is suddenly gone.

I have a boxer dog who is thick as a stupid person.

He barks at people at the end of the street, tries to walk through the glass wall thing and jumped in the canal because a swan was in it.

    Shelter dogs FTW.
We have a shepherd/Husky mix that's like 10 years old now and a skinny one we think is mixed everything. Long claws (digging?) that grow back fast, has weird voicing (a mix of yelps, growls and barks) and articulated paws that could probably hold a pencil and draw with it. Spotted black tongue and loves to "oil" his way up into your lap. Loves constant attention.

Can't imagine our life without dogs.

I have two malamute X shepherds, and my wife's a borderline cat collector... she feeds every stray that comes along, and in this town that means a lot.

When I'm not busy I volunteer at my county's animal shelter who are doing their very best to be no-kill, and it takes every ounce of self-restraint I have not to come home with a new friend each time.
I used to run the oldest commercial Mumble host.

As long as they aren't trying to eat my ankles, aren't 18 inches, and aren't fronting when they acting like they are going to do something, they better.

Dogs really are man's best friend I've got 3. A dachshund, maltese, and a wheaton terrier. Love my little maltese. If you don't already know, those are some mental doggies. Often they seem to be deathly afraid of others, but mine is nice and friendly to all.

The one thing I find odd is that the little maltese is the alpha dog... fending off the 3-4x as big terrier.

Oh, and the dachsund was a stray, and the two others (maltese and terrier) were grabbed for free from people who couldn't keep them any longer. If I'd have bought them, would've cost a good $1000-$2000.

I love dogs, I had a beagle / lab mix till it died from dog food poisoning.

I probably won't have another for some time.

Very energetic. It can't stop running haha, that's its nature though, it's basically a farm dog.

I LOVE dogs. I have a Pitbull who is actually the sweetest dog I've ever met! Pits always get a bad rep cause people only talk about the bad things pits have done, and the only reason they do those bad things is because of mistreatment and/or being trained to be violent.

    Anyone else have a Pit?!

I used to, and have had two over my life, but after certain recent situations, I have become one against dogs.

I can't say I hate them, or that I will not interact with them, but I do not like them. And I cannot see myself having one again in the future.
