    * RegFly.com issues

    Hi!

About 1.5 years ago i have purchased a SSL certificate from them and it did worked out and now i did same again.

After purchase my credit card got billed and i have received:

    my.domain.name
    FlySSL
    OrderId:1048871 2009-10-08 Completed Successfully

    Order Created and completed

    ---

What i have found odd is this:

I donīt have any more information where to activate my SSL certificate. I have browsed whole site out.

Anyone who have recently purchased anything from them or are they scammers?

I doubt that they're scamming you, just contact their support and I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you.

Well i did not log on to their site for long time, my older balance were gone for no reason. There were $25 or so and it showed me $0 balance.

Main page says about five mins activation...this is surely what makes some customers go with other providers.

Last time i have contacted their support, it took like a month. They`re cheap so i can understand itīs away from support but as a customer support representative myself, things must work out faster though.

RegFly has a long long history of scamming. Google RegisterFly (their previous name) for details.

WOAH! LOL! thats an awful lot... But how stupid to change there name to RegFly. I mean It would of been better for them to completley change there name so things like this didnt get caught. I think its wrong that they scammed you, but there some outright dumbass people to shorten there name by removing "ister" :L

    - Many Thanks,

Now i found the place where to paste CSR. It ended up with error:

    Error: -15,Not enough credit!

It is time for a charge back. Stay away from them. I just wonder how this kind of company can stay still online after this many scamming issues.

Interesting indeed, I wasn't aware of their previous track record.

I didn't make the connection between RegisterFly and RegFly - although side by side it's easy to draw conclusions.

I have purchased just from GoDaddy SSL certificate and i pasted exactly same CSR to their form to get it signed, it did worked out instantly.

This means with RegFly that they are obviously scamming because you don`t receive replies to your support requests, online support shows all the time that a support representative is online, real thing is that there is none online.

Itīs getting obvious... This kind of hosts should be disconnected from internet or atleast domains shut down by proper law enforcements.

They take your money but no service or support will be provided.

Is there a place to report them? I cannot stand this kind of cheating at all...

Ouch, if it wasn't for ICANN giving GoDaddy all the domains that Registerfly had controlled, there would have been a disaster. I wasn't aware they are still around as Regfly. If it is still the same guy from Florida, I would run for the hills.

I have been part of regfly when it was registerfly a few years back , and the company went down because of internal disputes. I think its still the mismanagement which is to be blamed.
Well to be true, looking at their management at that time, it was just the fancy website and promotions that kept registerfly alive.
