Windows Server 2008 [West Coast]
I'm looking to maybe switch my dedicated server to a west coast data center if at all possible. Basically, right now I have a pretty good deal of paying $80 a month for a dedicated server, the only issue is, its located on the East Coast and I'm on the West Coast.
Does anyone know of any good Windows Dedicated Server Providers on the West Coast around $80 a month?
Thanks everyone, I'm loving this community, you guys are the best.

Hey!
Thanks for the appreciation!
This is a great forum
Upon your request, i was wondering would it matter much ?
I don't think so. Unless you have to see your server physically running...

I wanted to host some server programs that require a better ping for my clients in the area of CA.
I could care less if I can see it in person, just need the best ping possible.

I suppose that would be possible to have the server according to your budget. But what is the server configuration you are interested in?

Right now with 1and1 I have the following:
- Athlon 4200+ 2 x 2.2GHz
- 2 GB RAM
- 2 x 250GB Software-RAID
Similar specs would be nice, but less isn't bad. I really only host 10 small websites.

Honestly if those are your only requirements I think just about anybody should be able to provide Windows 2008 and a comparable server there. I'm sure lots of good suggestions will still follow here, but make sure you skim the dedicated server offers on this board as well.. there should be no shortage of people wanting to rent you a server around these parts.

I'd say for $80 per month for Windows 2008 you might be better looking for a VPS. Your only likely to get a celeron for $50+ per month.
