Need advise on choosing the right VPS Plan
I want to setup a windows based host to run a Drupal site.
Don't ask why I am choosing the Windows based hosting I just am.
I am thinking of going with PhotonVPS and using their $48.95/mo plan which offers the following:
2 GB RAM
95 GB HDD
1500 GB Bandwidth
2 IPs
What I would like to know is would this be enough for me to handle between 20,000 to 50,000 hits per day or do I need to have bigger/better hardware?
Thanks

That should be plenty, although I would of course recommend linux with a control panel such as cPanel.

That stat you've provided is reaching a bit on the higher end of a lot of VPS hosts plans that I've seen. Take a look at the VPS offers forum. Many people here own or run web hosting firms that may meet your needs and can provider you specific feedback to you there.

Those specs should be fine for your needs, assuming the host does not oversell and you are able to use all of your RAM.

It's not really possible to know for sure until the actual site is examined and what runs under the hood. What are you currently using for the site?

I agree the specs of VPS is suffice, unless the node is oversold. also if you're gonna run process intensive site with heaps of plug-ins/modules and graphics it my slowdown a bit at peak times.

Thanks for all of the feedback.
I don't currently have a provider since this is a new site
and I am just trying to make sure that I can stay with the
company for a little while without having to switch just to accomidate the traffic.
