I have a question that i want to make single domain Name Server for all servers
ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com for server 1
ns3.mydomain.com and ns4.mydomain.com for server 2
ns5.mydomain.com and ns6.mydomain.com for server 3
ns7.mydomain.com and ns8.mydomain.com for server 4
mydomain.com is my single domain name
Now i have to reserve 10 domain names to run nameservers for 10 dedicated servers
Just as Perry said, single domain can be used for NS to be on different servers. And if you are using a control panel like cPanel or HELM or DNP, it is better to have dedicated DNS machines clustered and placed geographically apart and that will provide more redundancy and you can use one set of NS for all your Linux servers and other set for Windows.
cPanel provides free DNSonly and I think HELM and DNP also have some DNS solution.
