    httpd.conf location in cpanel 11

    Hi guys,

    i just found out that the new cpanel 11 uses the httpd configurations from


    is this true?

    or is it still /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf?

    Also, if i want to edit httpd.conf for my server and make it work, which httpd.conf should i edit and apply?

    Also what about all these distiller thingy

    Can someone please enlighten me?

    Yes, but make sure you read before modifying it, as updates will remove your modifications.

    our cpanel servers have always used /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf , for the past few years.

    i think it differs if you install cpanel on a new server, and can depend on the OS, as ours are all CentOS too.

    Its uses from /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.

    In cpanel servers /etc/httpd is a symlink to /usr/local/apache

    [email protected] [/]# ll /etc/httpd
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 May 19 04:32 /etc/httpd -> /usr/local/apache/
