To answer your question OP - if you don't have any management experience, or just want your server to work, then yes, WiredTree is worth it. I've been a client for a little while now and I can say that their support and management team are top notch - I can ignore my servers for weeks at a time and know they have it covered.
Coming from Rackspace and Softlayer, I moved some of our servers to WiredTree about a year ago and have been all smiles since. They have saved us time, money, and headaches - and support has been phenomenal all the way through.
I was with rackspace for 2yrs and I consider wiredtree's service on another level. Not only is everything actioned nearly instantly.. but they consistently go above & beyond the call of duty such as tweaking, troubleshooting and fulfilling my script system requirements etc. They've had a few network hiccups the last few weeks but should be ok now. In over a year that was the only outage I've had. The problem I find with most hosts is you raise a ticket and they answer it within 10mins usually asking you another question.. so you answer right away and that's it.. you don't hear back for hours. With wiredtree they just keep responding right back over and over until the issue is resolved.

Whatīs the main reason you want to switch hosts?
