My server has eth0 and eth1, how do I do a traceroute with the non default eth?

Is eth1 configured for internal network? If yes, do you want to route traffic from internal network to the outside world i.e. using eth0?

eth0 is a private network, I want to do a traceroute via that port. private network is via cogent and the public network is using other providers.
