    About backorders

I have some questions about backorders.
First of all if its better to place backorder with the registrar that already has the domain.
Second if there are more than one backorders which of them will finally get the domain.Depends of the date that placed?
And third if you get your money back when your backorder is unsuccessfull.

when the domains expire, they are released for public registration by Verisign. So whoever applies for the domain, gets the domain first.

It does not matter which registrar the domain name was with before the release.

Getting your money or not depends on the company you use.

It is definitely better to backorder any domain name with the registrar that already have it in their portfolio. It should our the sam with any other in theory, but it is better to be the same company.

As far as I know when a domain expires many companies provide their customers with a grace period to renew registration.

    Yes,

you can see a life cycle of a domain name at

    http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/gtld-lifecycle.htm

the release happens after the 75th day of expiry.

GoDaddy won't refund for an unsuccessful backorder, but you can transfer the backorder to another domain.
