I made it for a competition running on yaxay for a layout for neopanel. Unfortunatly the thread got closed because neo3 was offering hosting as part of the prize and he isn't 18 yet, so it's against yaxay rules.
This is only my second layout made with photoshop, so I just want some opinion so I know what to work on in future. I'm just doing this to fill my empty exhistence
The displayed image is a low quality jpg that does the layout very little justice and the text under 'tools' should be allinged to the right...
Under "Server Information", "Services" and "Resources", I suggest making it so that the data will line up horizontally.
Make sure that your page will fit in 760 pixels of width; otherwise, an unsightly horizontal scrollbar will appear on some web browsers under 800x600 solution.
Also, I would not change the default link style (i.e. keep unvisited links blue underlined, and visited links red or purple underlined). Right now, your links look exactly the same as your non-links, which causes confusion. Also, a user who wants to click through every single link to look for something that they don't know the exact location of would benefit from having visited links colored differently from unvisited links.
I can't see your HTML code so I can't check this, but make sure all your IMG tags have an explicit HEIGHT and WIDTH stated so that images will not slow down the page loading. Some people are on 56k modems, and I'm sure there are still some people on 28.8k modems too.
