I have never done that before. But I'm certain your web host did. So why don't ask them for help?

I don't have a web host, and the Data Centres that I use don't have Cloud computing.

jajaja, I wonder what else will "eventually" fall out from the sky...

So if cloud hosting is the new gimmick term for cluster/grid, why don't we go further and make a cluster of datacenters and call it "space hosting" its better then cloud hosting.

3Tera have implemented a scalable cPanel solution which works on their AppLogic product. Essentially their process enables you to build out cPanel in a much more scalable way, with load balancing, data redundancy, and a number of key services separated onto dedicated virtualised instances so everything isn't running on one installation. The AppLogic grid has full hardware failover. So yes it's possible, but it's not a cheap solution.

Auto-scaling? No, but an 'easy-to-scale' environment that can take cPanel beyond the capabilities of a single server without code modification.
