InterServer Setup Time
Hi guys, for those who have experience with InterServer, may I know how long it took for your servers to be set up?
I had order a server, received an order confirmation email. Then I paid through PayPal and that was the end of it. No payment confirmation.
My order status in the member page is still "pending".
Is this normal? I've only order about slightly more than a day ago.
Would be thankful for any advice.

Yes there is an email - feel free to look at the site
I've had great uptime with them and the port I'm on is underutilized apparently - I am able to burst very high on the 100mbit pipe pretty consistently. I've only had one bad experience - was with a tech named Tom - hes an idiot. The rest have been very helpful and speedy.Justin Yancey | Northern Virginia & District of Columbia | https://www.linkedin.com/in/justinyancey

Hello,
I have 2 boxes with InterServ, one of them was actually set up in 7 hours. They are definately the best provider I have used.

The setup time for dedicated servers is often discussed; and it varies a lot.
1. Do they have any hardware that you just ordered in stock?
2. If they do have that hardware, is it in boxes in the back room?
3. If #2, then they have to install all of their software on it and test it to make sure you can SSH, etc.
I would wait 2-3 days before bothering to contact them.

Hi!
Mathelic: how did you order ended with InterServer?
I'm thinking on buying a server there too, but I'm unable to find enough info on them.

Everything is as they say. Got my server in 2 days.
Staff response is very fast. Longest wait was 1 hour. Usual response time was within 15 minutes.
Network speed is within reasonable rate.
There was a tiny IP address misconfiguration for me when I got my server. They only set 1 IP. The staff responded with my assigned IPs and I configured it myself.
I would recommend it, good quality good price.
