Man, I wish my datacenter .... and Man, I love how my datacenter ....

Fill in the blanks, if your datacenter could offer one service, or did something that they don't do now, what would it be?

What does your current datacenter do that you really like?

I am not talking about your obvious ones like uptime/cost, I am talking about little things, things that make your life easier, or you to feel more comfortable with them as a facility.

For UberBandwidth, I really like how they include 3 hours of remote hands each month with the service. Most of the time everything is running nicely, but for those unexpected times when you need something it is good to know you aren't going to go over budget with a few hours of work.

A second freight elevator and better parking. Amazing how many very busy sites only have a single freight elevator! Our main facility has six floors and on a busy day you can stand waiting for 15 to 20 minutes. Other thing I find critical is a good parking lot. I guess in the terrorism era no one but the staff is allowed to use the huge below ground parking lot?

I love how our datacenter has biometric security on top of other safeguards. Makes everyone more comfortable and everything a bit more secure.

(As an aside, I didn't make the access list at LSN! But that seems a little bit safer all around, in keeping access restricted to need-to-access individuals.)

    We wish:
    1. Free secure place for parking.
    2. 24x7 onsite staff FROM THEM (not ours) not at an outrageous cost.
    3. A kitchen and an emergency bed for those unexpected long overnights when working on customer equipment.
    4. Accepting payments by credit card instead of wire

Our DC has #1 and part of #3 (kitchen). I'm not too sure about #4.

Free beds-for-rent or similar would be nice at any DC.
