Price of Dedicated seems reasonable?
These days the price of a dedicated server seems reasonable... Can anyone suggest a good vendor.
I simply want to install Trixbox CE on it and try out VOIP...
Can anyone suggest requirements? I suppose I would want it close to my physical location to minimize latency issues... I am on West Coast USA.
Limestone Networks has a good solution right here:
And since they are located in Dallas they have good connections all over the USA.

You might want to look at the install file or documentation to get an acurate requirement for your installation.
If you're using it for trixbox, why not try a VPS? We run our own trixbox system within Hyper-V (yes, its compatible) and have no problems with it at all.

Some providers actually provide a VPS image with Trixbox already installed.
Try teamvps.com and see if that works for you.
Can't we all just get along
I would also recommend a VPS if you just want to tryout VOIP, no need for a whole dedi server for that.
Thanks for the positive mention!

I'd recommend a budget VPS should make voip project more cost effective
