CSF firewall wont restart!!
Hello guys im getting this error when i go to restart CSF firewall on my vps.
rror: The VPS iptables rule limit (numiptent) is too low (119/128) - stopping firewall to prevent iptables blocking all connections, at line 315
Could someone tell me how i can fix this.
Just googling 'numiptent' returns this page:
So it looks like you are using a VZ-based VPS and have hit a limit on the number of IPtables rules you are allowed? [As I believe they are shared amongst customers rather than dedicated like Xen/KVM]. I think you will need to contact your provider to find out how you can resolve the situation.
Exceptional VPS Hosting.
Yep, you'll need to contact your provider and ask them to raise the numiptent value for your container and you should be good to go.
