Looking for a small VPS with cPanel installed. What price should i expect if i need 5 GB of space, 700 - 1000 GB bandwidth and cPanel?

You will find offers on the WHT offers section, but just so you know the minimum RAM for Cpanel on a VPS is 256MB per their website: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpane...uirements.html

And Free Cpanel will probably mean it is just included in the price of the VPS.

If you can live without cpanel then you can always try webmin its free and isnt as easy as cpanel but does a lot of things.

You'll find one for at least $19-$39+ for a cPanel VPS regardless of the specifications you ask for. It might give us a better idea of what your looking for and maybe a provider to match with your needs if you gave us your budget.

I would say at least $20 for a cPanel VPS. cPanel licensing is significant in the price and it's not free for providers. Have you had a look in the VPS offers forum? There's quite a number of reputable cPanel VPS offers there.

Whatever you do, don't order a VPS based on price alone. The cheapest provider is likely to be overloaded to hell causing you no end of problems.

There are too many 1 month old hosts doing business for a bit of pocket money, and then folding. Then all their customers go to the next 1 month host!

Would you buy a $2000 brand new car? Highly unlikely because it would be crap!

You may need to ask for a custom package since your diskspace needs are low and your bandwidth is high. Keep in mind that Cpanel alone costs a minimum of $10/mo. Real dedicated bandwidth costs money too.

How much RAM do you need? Do you need managed serivces? Do you really need Cpanel?

Give FsckVPS ago they are cheap and they seem to be a large company owned by a bluesquare data center.

What ever you do don't go with vpsland.com. They were my first experice with a vps and they moved me to serveral servers and they where still super slow in slugish. Tried at another place and it was like getting a new pc right out of the box. Fast and very responsive =) But I have always hear FsckVPS was a really good provider so I might just have to try them out for my testing purposes.

cPanel is a license application, you won't get it for free with the VPS. btw, how much you are planning to spend for this VPS ?

Browse through the VPS Offers Forum. You won't find any cPanel VPS for under $20/month i think though

You mentioned cpanel and 1000GB BW, so the price would varies among hosts.
Rather than asking the price you would pay, why not give us your budget?

Keep in mind 1000GB of bandwidth really isn't that cheap. They just hope you don't use it all.

I'm newer and looked at Futurehosting and several others, before deciding on KnownHost. It has cPanel, which I didn't really know how to use, and so far it's been great. Looks like bandwidth varies, but their service has been good with me.

sure sign of overselling! but i don't think it has 1TB bandwidth as required by poster.
