    newegg?

May be in the wrong section sorry if it is... Anyone ever buy from newegg.com? I'm asking for the servers... Server barebones what all comes with these? Is it just the case and the mobo, and you have to order a cpu, fans, power, ram, and hd?

I do a lot of business with newegg and have always been pleased with their deals and support. I'm sure they probably list in the description exactly what the server chassis comes with? They are usually pretty good about listing the items shipped, sometimes even down to the brackets and cds included.

Na, just has a description of machine with pictures. CPU, RAM, HD are not in pictures so i rule those out but would be nice to know if the mobo and power come with... I asked live support they said to email the company of the product.

If your looking for full systems without the worry of something being sent with the hardware or not, get in contact with ApaqDigital. Chong will sort you out "Good 'n' Proper".

I've had a good experience buying a Supermicro bare bone from Newegg before. It came with the case, PSU, motherboard, heatsinks, and I believe a slim CD-ROM installed. I put in the processors, RAM, disks, etc.

I have never ordered servers from newegg, but I have ordered from them quite a bit in general for personal purchases. Great company to deal with!

I've ordered plenty of parts over time for custom builds from newegg and I must say I love their great deals and fast shipping.

Probably spent around $60,000~ with them, they are always spot on.

From servers, computers, parts, accessories, etc. We've pretty much bought a little of everything except power tools and appliances.

They are actually fueling out R1Soft adventure right now

I've ordered a few Intel Atom boards (D945GCLF(2)'s) and some RAM (Kingston DDR2-667) from them and have been very pleased with all of it.

Their hard drives are good too - but sometimes if you buy an OEM HD they don't package it very well....luckly hasn't been an issue for me (yet).

Yeah, the only issue with them is they price it way to high to ship to Alaska.. lol...

...but i've ordered from them a lot just not a barebone server. I get HDs for free so i don't ever order them, i just take 1tb home from work when i feel the need!

Shipping from anywhere to Alaska is kind of hard :-/

How do you get free HDDs from work? Do you own the company?

I was wondering the same thing, is it theft? I'm curious for clarification.

Lol, you're less diplomatic than I am, MikeTrike

But I figure he owns the company or has permission!
