    Review for my site? Cometarcade.com

    Hi guys,

I've been maintaining this flash games portal for a while now, http://cometarcade.com Anyone would kindly feedback in term of design, features, and usability?

My aim is to make the site to be as simple to browse as possible.

    Thanks!

I like it, Nice, big easy buttons to click. Everything is easy to read, and its a simple background which is good.

However, the google add's, That lets it down im affraid.

I have to agree. I hate to see Google ads at the top of a site. It kinda cheapens my impression right off. Maybe move them to the bottom or at least below your introduction. I do like your judicious use of color.

Thank you for everyone's kind review.

I'll incorporate the Google Ad suggestion. There won't be any ads on the main page!

Overall I really like the design, however; I'm not a fan of the blue star background. I understand the name of the website and 'comet' and 'stars' related to the sky but what if you try a black background with a shooting comet? Just a thought... overall you did a great job

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to think about this, because black background can be, well, uninviting.

It is a bit bland but it certainly does the job! I like the way that the games are listed.

I'm not really a fan of the background image. I would suggest creating a dark, space themed, background.

The dark colour will really give the design the contrast that it needs and the space theme will help with brand association for the name "comet arcade".

It looks maybe too simple, but still good.
    Easy to read and navigate.
I, personally would go for some dark color scheme for this type of site, just a suggestion...
