It appears the layout or structure of the pages are the same. I see nothing wrong with someone using the same layout as another Web site since designed layouts in most cases cannot be legally copyrighted. It's nearly impossible not to get ideas from other designs whether inspired, intentional, subliminal, or whatever you want to call it. However, I do have problems with leeches that blatantly rip and steal Web site content and/or images.

Are you sure about that? I've always thought that Rackspace was not as big as Rackshack, but honestly I don't know for sure. Do you have any figures on this to back up your statement? Not that this has anything to do with the thread topic (my apologies for the tangent).
Yes, rackspace allows spammers. I have sent multiple complaints about spam to rackspace, and it seems if the site is big enough - the site stays. With rackshack they always get closed down, sometimes it takes a little bit of time, but they do close them.
I monitor spam with spambot collectors so I can block spammers from our 65,000 users of our mail service. So I really look carefully at alot of spam. I think rackspace and exodus (or whoever runs their ipblock now) are the two worst domestic hosts as far as hosting spam.
Rackspace hosts spammers like adigen.com, fantastic-bargain.com and other spammers. I define a spammer as anyone who sends to my spambot collectors.
I don't mean to seem like I'm supporting either host, however who is bigger or who has been around longer doesn't really tell you much of anything. It surely doesn't tell you who copied who and I'm not even sure that people who are in charge of both places are aware of this issue. I say issue a bit tongue and cheek as neither of them may even care about it, thus it might actually be a non-issue.
I personally don't check it that often, but last one I remember was the one posted that looked like catalog. I like the newer one better, though I'll admit I never liked the catalog one (nor catalog's) all that much to begin with. I know, not a review thread, heh.
Maybe all the parties bought an FAQ layout. A bit like templates at 4templates.com, they are cheap, so they are sold more than once. Too many people jump to conclusions about someone copying someone else.
Both Rackshack and Rackspace are big companies. So neither would copy the other, they have talented designers, who may have origianl ideas, or who may need inspiration.
