    I think my copy of Dreamweaver is formatting javascript incorrectly.

    Can you tell me if it is formatting differently from your copy of dreamweaver? I think the auto indent for the second line is waaaaaay too far in. It only happens when I am writing javascript/jquery

    If it is bugged...I think I'm just going to have to reinstall.

    Here is a screenshot.

    There are options in there somewhere for indenting, but also is it possibly basing the indenting is based on the bracket?

    It only indents like this when I type javascript. Everything else is as I would expect it.

    The options don't really apply to code written by you, only the code written by dreamweaver.

    Mine does it too, it adds 7 tabs to get it over to where the function statement ends in the line above. If you add more spaces before the function end, it adds more to get it to the same spot.

  5. I see this kind of weird behavior some times, we also use netbeans (free) for such purposes.
