    Traceroute request timed out

I am unable to access my website, it seems to be an ISP problem.

When I do a traceroute, it times out after 4 hops.

Are such problems common and how soon are they rectified?

If you are not able to access your site, check with free proxies are you able to access it or not, better contact data center as well, yes some times these unusual problem come one country site is not accessible to another country and it took time sometime to become normal

If it is timing out after about four hops it is probably related to your ISP as you say. What is your ISP? Do they have any reported issues on their website?

Could be some local routing issues near you (well in your country)..

I would think it will clear up quite soon though, if nothing is reported etc..

If you also trying trace routing from a site such as traceroute.org you can find lots of mirror sites to determine if the break in connectivity is relative to your location or if it is at the providers endpoint or main switching equipment.
