I think you will be able to find those types of configurations with prices starting in the low $100's for each server, although the software licensing and any management will be additional. The Dedicated Server Offers section should have some offers you can browse to compare companies. You may want to mention where would be the ideal location for you host to be located: US , UK, or Internationally in other locations. The more information you provide, the better the references and advice you will get.
- Donovan K Want to monitor and manage your customers Windows systems by Client software, web portal, or mobile phone?
Automated scripts, patching, and remote access too? Ask me how!
Is there a preference for server location?
Are you looking for a fully managed solution?
How about backups etc?
You will find a pretty big price gap between MSSQL Enterprise and Standard editions. As long as you are completely sure you need the enterprise edition and it's worth the cost, then that's fine
If you are looking for a fully managed solution with backups etcetera I would take a look at Cartika Hosting. Excellent network and great support.
Hi I have a client looking for a dedicated server. He is looking for a reliable host who can provide the following:
CPU : intel Xeon 2.5Ghz or comparable
RAM : 4Gg
HDD : SATA 500GB or SCSI 250GB
Redundant Power Suppy (optional)
1 server for webfiles & 1 server for DB server with:
Windows 2003 server (Enterprise Edition / SP2)
MS-SQL 2005 (Enterprise Edition/ SP3)
would like to Lease the 2 servers for now and
posibility to expand to 5 servers in 3~4 months
would like to save money on softwares
Just need windows as described above, and rest software can be taken care of, via remote connection.
considering between 100M shared or dedicated 10M
would be great if separate quote can be supplied. (open to comparable settings)
The set up time for above systems. (how long it takes to set up after payment)
Please let me know if you are aware of companies capable of providing good technical and customer services.
Also, it would be helpful how much it costs to rent/lease such servers as I usually deal with shared hosting servers.
George the Problem is that we can't make any deals for you on this forum thread. So I really advice you to check OFFERS section on WHT or contact some companies directly about a quote.
All of us will be happy to make a good deal for you
