i used to get ~400kb/sec from my servers... now i am averaging ~250kb/sec... annoying but still tolerable...
whats odd is that... the lower speeds... thats still with lower overall b/w usage... hmm...

United.Colo's SLA is 99.9 or just 99%?
If it's 99.9% then they've just met it for the month.
99% uptime SLA kinda sucks anyway.

When I signed up I could swear they claimed 24/7 support. I just called and it's monday-friday 9-6 or something. I always stayed out of the arguments in the past about their lying about bandwidth carriers and what-not, but this is just flat out annoying. There's no one there to fix the problem and this will result in a couple of hours of downtime. It's already been an hour and a half. Sure, I'm paying $50/month and shouldn't complain, but bad service is just bad service. If they're the big time colocation sellers they claim to be their big time clients wouldn't stand for this kind of downtime. Once or twice when they were brand new, sure, but they've had their dedicated servers for months now.

heh
i'm paying a bit more than $50/month... so... may i ask u guys this... when did this downtime start... n... once this period is over, what percentage of uptime has it had for the month?
i just need some corroboration when i submit my credit request for an SLA violation...

SLA?
OK, so say their SLA states 99.9% uptime or whatever. What happens if they fail to provide that level of uptime? Do I not have to pay for that month?

trying @ 3:26 am pacific. no response. hahaha, some 99.9% SLA huh?
See the thing is though, they don't specify 99.9% of what? this month, this year, or this CENTURY. I think the latter is correct..
