Boxing vs. MMA!!!

Is the future of boxing in the hands of MMA? What would rather watch...a practical punching match or a brutal fight with a variety of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows? The matter at hand is does the practical view of boxing have a chance against MMA's brutality?

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/325407...-other_sports/

I know for one thing, I'd rather pay 50$ on a pay-per-view to watch a brutal MMA fight where the fighters are wearing 4oz gloves trying to "hurt" their opponent rather than watch two guys jumping around trying to hit each other with huge padded gloves on.

You decide!

I loved boxing for many years and ordered my share of the good PPV. Since I started watching MMA, I have been much more impressed with the techniques, the matchup's and the explosiveness of the sport.

Two guys pitter-patting for 12 rounds can sometimes drone on while some nasty clinches, holds, chokes, and strikes makes for a sport more 3 dimensional than boxing which is always standing toe to toe and 2 dimensional.

I'd rather watch the MMA any day of the week.

Same here, MMA to me is a 1000000% more interesting than boxing ever was or will be.

MMA all the way!

Yeah, no super impressed with the 103 card. The last event I made was in Atlanta when Rashad knocked Chuck Lidell out... was ringside, got some great contacts in Atlanta!

UFC Fight Night Live had some really good fights last night!

I'm not really worried about the match ups. This will be my first UFC event I'll be attending. The only thing I'm worried about is who gets knocked out haha

MMA all the way. I'm not a huge fan of either, but I just can't watch boxing its so bloody boring.

MMA at least has some excitement in it. Boxing's problem is its slow, boring and they charge a Arm and a Leg for a PPV.

There fighters suck because they are all afraid to get hit.
