    windows 2008 Vps

Iam looking for a Windows VPS with Windows 2008 enterprise edition
I had found Ultimahosts, but I wounder if it excist any host with
a price lower than $49 per month. Can anyone help me?

I plan to study for a MCITP certificate and for that I need a Windows 2008
enterprise edition server for practice labs.

If I remember right though, windows 2008's licensing fees have been increased from what 2003's were. $49/mo is a good price.

What are your needs as far as server resources go? Have you looked in the VPS offers forum? There's quite a number of reputable hosting offers over there.

Unfortunately we cannot provide 2k8 on our Windows VPS due to Virtuozzo's inability to support Server 2008 under VZ 4.0

Virtuozzo 4.5 BETA supports 2k8, but it is not yet stable or released to the public.

Good luck to the OP with finding a host

Search for Hyper-V providers. All of them can deploy Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition for the same price because it is covered by host OS.

herrfreebie (nice name, BTW, haha!), Any Xen or Hyper-V provider should be able to (in theory, anyway) get you a Windows 2008 system, so as long as you look for virtualization powered by Xen (my recommendation) or Hyper-V, you'll be able to secure the hosting you need.

If you have Windows 2008 Datacenter edition as host OS, you will be able to have Unlimited Guest OS and you do not need to license each one of them - which effectively helps in reducing costs! However, check out if you can get some good VPS management panel as well to manage your VPS.
