    Getting a domain transfered?

Ok, I've switched hosts payed $14 for a domain transfer and the domain, but for some reason I still can't my domain to do what I want it do. My new host IGX has said they've done all they can to get it switched. I think I have also, but can anyone recommend a last resort to getting my domain? I don't see why it's such a big issue. I sent the correct auth code and the domain is unlocked.

Who is the domain with currently? You may have to contact them directly to get their assistance.

You may have to try giving them a call, I've never heard of them myself.

Ouch, what is the domain in question - the provider may be using a reseller of some sort who you can contact directly to get assistance.

Did you get the domain name from your old hosting provider? They might be able to help you get the domain name transfered over.

To switch the domain from one registrar to another, you need to create an EPP auth request,
once you get your EPP code, you give it to the new registrar , pay transfer fee and your set to go.

you can lookup the wiki for it here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transfer_secret

    1. ask your current registrar for your domain EPP code.
    2. go to the new registrar hand them the code / enter it in thier interface.

as for calling germany, you can use skype, load it with call credits ,then just select the flag of the contrey you want to call , dial in the number and talk to them.

    hope this helps you!

    Hello Stanley,

In our Enom control panel, it currently says:

"Transfer in Process - Acquiring Current Whois for Transfer Verification".

An e-mail is supposedly sent to you or your old host/registrar to confirm the transfer.

Are you able to get a hold of your previous host or domain registrar?

    Best Regards,

Realistically an email should go to the "Administrator" listed in the WHOIS for the domain and once that person approves the transfer the rest should be fairly automatic.

If you have WHOIS Protection turned on you may need to disable this otherwise the authorization email will go to the WHOIS protection service which may or may not authorize the transfer for you.

Most loosing registrars do not complete the transfer for 5-10 days. You are just playing the waiting game. It will complete eventually.
