    Unhappy MS Exchange on a Win 2008 Dedicated Server

    Hey All,
    Im having a problem with setting up exchange (2007), all seems to be working fine, i can send mail etc. But when i try and send mail to it i get the following error;

    #5.5.0 smtp;503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server.

    I have spent hours playing / Google'ing and all i could work out was that you have to set it to allow anonymous connections (which i have ticked the box)
    I cant find what else to do.

    Cheers,
    Matt

    I think your email client must authenticate outgoing smtp server.
