Looking for reliable registrar for anonymous domain names.

What is the best method to stay anonymous when ordering a domain name?
If I'll pay with paypal that I didn't deposit any cash into it, just got some money from someone and the account is anonymous, they don't have my IP or any detail.
is it enough? is there a better way to stay anonymous and avoid any legal demand?
I can also pay with charged visa that I can buy in the post office, can someone tell the registrar to delete or suspend my domain?
what would you advice me to do?

    Thanks.

(I'm only talking about a legal porn site but I'm still afraid)

    Become a ninja.

You'd need to provide a fake e-mail address too when registering a domain. You can however just stay anonymous by ordering with GoDaddy.com for example and taking out privacy on the domain so your details are never disclosed to anyone outside of the company.

If the pornographic content is indeed legal then you'll have nothing to worry about. On the other hand if you're worried in the first place about being linked to your content it may be a bad idea to start with.

    Something to consider perhaps

Be aware that if you provide fake registrant information you may loose your domain as per ICANN's policy. GD as well as other registrar states this clearly when you request a name. It's ok to subscribe a whois privacy service, but underlying registrant data must be real.

you're right and wrong, if I'll choose the privacy option at godaddy, they will have my details, and they will pass it to courts etc'.

I want to be protected from the registrar too.

I'm not right and wrong, I was right. I said GoDaddy.com would have your information. If the site is not illegal then you have nothing to worry about.

If the site is potentially illegal you'd need to let us know as I'm 100% sure many people here wont want to help you stay hidden from prosecution for illegally operating your site or having illegal content.

the site is legal, users can upload their own videos - which means I can't monitor all the activity so I want to stay anonymous.

    this is my right.

Well the domain is the least of your problem.. Signup in a country like brazil where illegal services are the norm...

The domain you use it not going to get you in trouble its the server location and how you you manage content that will...

    As per above.

If you host the content, you own the content and are liable for it. If you know that your information can be passed to the courts and are worried about it then you should really invest in some way to monitor the content added to your site.

Be it hiring staff that can check the video's or by hosting in country that wont prosecute you and seeking legal advice.

No it is not your right.

When you register a domain you enter into a contract with your registrar. Your registrar has a right to know with whom they are entering into a contract. You cannot enter into a contract anonymously. Can't be done. End of story. No point in even continuing with this thread!

You can develop a feature on your website that easily allows users to report abuse by clicking "Report Abuse" next to each video. And in that report abuse form, you can have the user explain why the Video needs to be taken off. And then remove it if its a valid or real reason to remove it?

I've always been curious, is there any domain registrars that you know of that offer that service for free? Most places I've seen jack up the price quite a bit if you want your registration identity kept private.
