Hey guys, so I have a dedicated server with FDCServers.net, and my customers were able to upload large videos to their sites before, the largest ive had was 700mb. However, when they try it now, it throws a time out error on files that are just around 150mb.
I dont think anything has changed, do you have any idea where I could start looking? Got a few customers on my back about this.
I would start checking my httpd.conf and php.ini files before taking any other actions. You should try it too.
Yeah I did, the httpd.conf has a timeout setting of 36000, thats 600 minutes, but I bumped it up just in case, and the php.ini has a max_execution_time of 10000 (166.66 min), so I doubt thats it as well.
I just cant find out what it is, Its got to be the server, because it happens on multiple networks, that are all over.
This suggestion may sound silly, but it's worth a try...
I remember one of customers had similar issues (his file sharing script has stopped working without any reason and no errors were displayed). We have upgraded and recompiled Apache + PHP and script started working immediately.
