Anyone have a GV account? I have one, and it's awesome! What do you guys think?
On a sad note, none of my contacts transferred, nor my previous messages.

Well my eyes are hurting at the moment, could you give me a run down on what it is?
I'm suspecting it is some sort of equivalent to Skype?

Yup, just transferred one of my old grandcentral numbers. Hopefully it's better than GC. Loving the SMS feature.

Do they automatically transfer your Grand Central account to Google Voice or do you have to do something?

Mine did nothing too.. It's strange how not all grandcentral users are able to upgrade at the same time.

I see it now, it says my account isn't ready for upgrade yet.

I found out why my logs and voicemails haven't been moved yet.
Your call logs and voicemails may take a few days to update.

Sometimes I think this is how Google builds buzz.
Make some people wait ...

It certainly worked for Gmail. When that first came out, it was all the rage to get an Gmail invite.

It is better than skype and free. You can call get get calls from any US number for free. They also have pretty cheap international rates.

Google Voice is currently available to GrandCentral users at this time. Google aquirred them sometime in 2006 and Google Voice is the next generation. Google says it will be available in the coming weeks. I'm guessing it will be on an invite thing like gmail at first then fully open later on.
