a cpanel VPS licence will cost $15, so you're essentially asking for $10 worth of VPS. Add another $10-15 a month to your budget and you'll start to find a better quality of provider, the type who'll be there for the long haul.

You can find providers offering licences for $5, I'm not sure of what the licence costs direct from cPanel but I'm fairly sure the provider is just taking a loss on them at that price.

Like I said you'll get a better provider for a little bit more money, and it saves everyone from yet another so n so host is crap thread.

    I'd recommend WiredTree or ServerComplete

With a budget that low, along with wanting cPanel / billing software included you're probably best to spend it on some reseller hosting, you'll get much more value for your money.

Much so agreed, cPanel+WHMCS would cost $20 alone on license, $15 for the VPS. So, roughly about $35/mo.

VPS Offers forums may also give you an idea of what a realistic budget for your needs would be.

I think those requirements are a bit high... 1-2GB of ram is a lot. Are you looking for 512MB guaranteed and 1-2GB burst or 1-2GB guaranteed?

I recall running across some dedicated server deals around that price range before (not a xeon or a quad core though). I would check out the dedicated server or VPS offers section.

If your willing to go with a small hosting company there is probably a good a chance that they would give you a VPS package with the the specs you want for the price that your looking for.

Sorry, i take that back. I didn't read the line that said that you needed cPanel in your second request.

I would just go with the reseller package that someone else suggested. Its probably the best and most reliable as well as the probably the safest way to do things.
